1 Year since being excommed and I find im happier, more mature, smarter, richer, more experienced and more flexible than ever before. I haven't for a single second regretted it, or had second thoughts.
For those of you still in, still trying to convince yourself - I have no more anger, just mild frustration and pity. I pity you.
Goodbye.

19. IF THE SONS OF GOD, OR THE ANGELS OR SPIRITS OF GOD, COULD HAVE INTERCOURSE WITH THE DREAMY DAUGHTERS OF MEN and thereby have children who became giants and mighty men of old, WHY CANNOT THE SONS OF MEN HAVE INTERCOURSE WITH THESE BEAUTIFUL SPIRITUAL DAUGHTERS OF GOD, these goddesses of His spiritual Heavens, the symbolic spirits or Heavenly Queens of each nation, so that they might supernaturally bear us the SPIRITUAL CHILDREN OF GOD BY HIS SPIRIT, TO BECOME GIANTS OF FAITH and mighty men and women of God in each of these lands? Hallelujah! -(The Goddess, ML224)So lets get this straight, the genius who had the great idea of screwing the human hotties gets tied hand and foot, tossed in a hole in the desert, has jagged rocks piled on top of him, and is sealed in there awaiting his date with the lake of fire in a few thousand years. And you're asking "why shouldn't we do it"? Aren't you a bright little crayon...why don't you cunt off back to your grave you haggard, paedophilic Jew. (its an angry day today, because of Tevez, the little shite.)And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born untoSound familiar?
Lets see what history has shown happens, when man and spirit .. er.. become one:
12them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men3and beget us children.' And Semjâzâ, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not4indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations5not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves6by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn7and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names of their leaders: Samîazâz, their leader, Arâkîba, Râmêêl, Kôkabîêl, Tâmîêl, Râmîêl, Dânêl, Êzêqêêl, Barâqîjâl,8Asâêl, Armârôs, Batârêl, Anânêl, Zaqîêl, Samsâpêêl, Satarêl, Tûrêl, Jômjâêl, Sariêl. These are their chiefs of tens.7
1And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms2and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they3became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed4all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against5them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and6fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones. (Ench 6: 1-7, 7: 1-6))
Doesn't really sound like a very clever idea does it? Lets see what God did about it all:1Then said the Most High, the Holy and Great One spake, and sent Uriel to the son of Lamech,2and said to him: 'Go to Noah and tell him in my name "Hide thyself!" and reveal to him the end that is approaching: that the whole earth will be destroyed, and a deluge is about to come3upon the whole earth, and will destroy all that is on it. And now instruct him that he may escape4and his seed may be preserved for all the generations of the world.' And again the Lord said to Raphael: 'Bind Azâzêl hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening5in the desert, which is in Dûdâêl, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may 6,7 not see light. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire. And heal the earth which the angels have corrupted, and proclaim the healing of the earth, that they may heal the plague, and that all the children of men may not perish through all the secret things that the8Watchers have disclosed and have taught their sons. And the whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azâzêl: to him ascribe all sin.'
9
And to Gabriel said the Lord: 'Proceed against the bastards and the reprobates, and against the children of fornication: and destroy [the children of fornication and] the children of the Watchers from amongst men [and cause them to go forth]: send them one against the other that they may destroy each other in10battle: for length of days shall they not have. And no request that they (i.e. their fathers) make of thee shall be granted unto their fathers on their behalf; for they hope to live an eternal life, and11that each one of them will live five hundred years.' And the Lord said unto Michael: 'Go, bind Semjâzâ and his associates who have united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves12with them in all their uncleanness. And when their sons have slain one another, and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgement and of their consummation, till the judgement that is13for ever and ever is consummated. In those days they shall be led off to the abyss of fire: and14to the torment and the prison in which they shall be confined for ever. And whosoever shall be condemned and destroyed will from thenceforth be bound together with them to the end of all15generations. And destroy all the spirits of the reprobate and the children of the Watchers, because16they have wronged mankind. Destroy all wrong from the face of the earth and let every evil work come to an end: and let the plant of righteousness and truth appear: and it shall prove a blessing; the works of righteousness and truth' shall be planted in truth and joy for evermore. (Ench 10: 1-16)
Do come again.

0 comments Published by the.cog on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 4:58 AMWas just reading a pretty decent thread here, it's a family member talking with some exer's about past abuses and all that stuff, and although I've never been overly interested in that aspect, the thread does a good job of laying out the rather propaganda-fueled mindset that many of you have, as it is written by one of your very own. That said, you may even learn a fact or two that you didn't know before. Again, the thread can be found by clicking HERE.

4 comments Published by the.cog on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 7:19 AMMy Sister: i found something up your alley
My Sister: this lil apostate is so you
My Sister: but u have to read the whole thing till the end
Me: ok
My Sister: GN 1092-issues part 17
Me: hold on, i have Infostore
Me: if its not too recent
Me: yeah its here
My Sister: its 12 pages
My Sister: but u have nothing better to do im sure
Me: ...I'im sure..
My Sister: ok
My Sister: i need to go dung
Me: charming..
My Sister: bye bye
Me: bye
So I read it, and here are my thoughts:
Just a few points before we start..
1) There is a difference between a belief or an opinion and a fact. In this instance, many of you may believe that paragraphs preceded by “Jesus Speaking” or similar, are indeed messages from Jesus. That is your belief, and that is fine, but it is certainly not a fact, and as such, quotes from those passages cannot be used to “prove” a point in any argument you may present.
This does not work both ways however, since you are bound by your belief system (assuming you are a family member) in the event of any argument presented against you, quotes from those passages (taken in context of course) may be used as fact, since according to your belief system, those are the words of Jesus, and as such, infallible. Since my belief system has not been outlined, and for the sake of this discussion it can be assumed that I do not believe those to be the words of Jesus, you may not present them as fact in any argument against me. Follow? Good.
2) Similarly, opinions and suppositions laid out by Maria, Peter, or any other WS channels, are merely that: opinion, and being so, are equally valid to mine, yours, or my landlord. My opinion does not trump Mama’s, and neither do her opinions trump mine, except in the event that one is backed up by fact and the other is not.
3) Being overly aggressive and defensive in your replies makes you look stupid. No, it does not prick my conscience and no, it does not make me think you are cool and hardcore. Calm down, take a deep breath, and then reply. Thank you.
Additionally, there are some things you should look out for whilst reading this GN (and others):
4) Equivocation: Equivocation is the use of a word in more than one sense during an argument. It is often done intentionally.
Example: Individual rights must be championed by the government. It is right for one to believe in God. So government should promote the belief in God.
In this argument, right is used ambiguously. In the phrase “individual rights” it is used in the sense of a privilege, whereas in the second sentence right is used to mean correct or moral. The questionable conclusion is possible only if the arguer is allowed to play with the meaning of the critical word right.
5) Circular Reasoning: Circular reasoning involves assuming as a premise that which you are trying to prove. Intuitively, it may seem that no one would fall for such an argument. However, the conclusion may appear to state something additional, or the argument may be so long that the reader may forget that the conclusion was stated as a premise.
Example: The death penalty is appropriate for traitors because it is right to execute those who betray their own country and thereby risk the lives of millions.
This argument is circular because “right” means essentially the same thing as “appropriate.” In effect, the writer is saying that the death penalty is appropriate because it is appropriate.
6) Unwarranted Assumptions: The fallacy of unwarranted assumption is committed when the conclusion of an argument is based on a premise (implicit or explicit) that is false or unwarranted. An assumption is unwarranted when it is false— these premises are usually suppressed or vaguely written. An assumption is also unwarranted when it is true but does not apply in the given context.
Example: Either restrictions must be placed on freedom of speech or certain subversive elements in society will use it to destroy this country. Since to allow the latter to occur is unconscionable, we must restrict freedom of speech.
The arguer offers two options: either restrict freedom of speech, or lose the country. He hopes the reader will assume that these are the only options available. This is unwarranted. He does not state how the so called “subversive elements” would destroy the country, nor for that matter why they would want to destroy it. There may be a third option that the author did not mention; namely, that society may be able to tolerate the “subversives”; it may even be improved by the diversity of opinion they offer.
7) Suppressed Premises: Most arguments depend on one or more unstated premises. Sometimes this indicates a weakness in the argument, an oversight by the writer. More often, however, he or she wants the audience to fill in the premise themselves and therefore be more likely to believe the conclusion.
Example: Politician: A hawk should not be elected president because this country has seen too many wars.
The argument has two tacit premises—one obvious, the other subtle. Clearly, the politician has labeled his opponent a hawk, and he hopes the audience will accept that label. Furthermore, although he does not state it explicitly, the argument rests on the assumption that a hawk is likely to start a war. He hopes the audience will fill in that premise, thereby tainting his opponent as a war monger.
8) True But Irrelevant: This tactic is quite simple: the arguer bases a conclusion on information that is true but not germane to the issue.
Ok then, here we go.
Is it worth it?
10. (Jesus:) There are a lot of details and specific doubts and questions within the preceding post--some of which are obvious bunk, others of which seem to have some foundation in logic.
Refer to point 1. Objectively speaking, this is a WS channel’s opinion. He thinks its bunk to go and get an education (and of course, sitting in his house, all his bills paid by you willing groupies, he has no reason to say otherwise, does he?). Anyway, check this out:
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world – Nelson Mandela.
Put simply, we can either listen to a man who freed an entire country from discrimination and oppression, won a Nobel Peace Prize as well as over 100 other awards and honors, or take the “highly enlightened” opinion of a no name, dime a dozen WS channel, who has in comparison done absolutely fuck all, for me, or the rest of the world. Oh how will we ever choose?
The simple truth, however, is that those who want to believe Me will believe Me--and those who want to believe otherwise, to believe the voices of the world, will believe them.
The style that a lot of the family’s writing incorporates is very clever and subtle. This clip here is a great example. Without any factual basis, they have right away married the two concepts of 1) Believing in Jesus and 2) not getting an education. They also create a parallelism between 1) Getting an education and 2) believing the voices of the world, which is dependant on the negative slant which is put onto “voices of the world”.
Let’s start with the first little merger: The bible has no stance on pursuing a higher education, and certainly makes no disparity with between believing in Jesus while at the same time getting an education. The alleged “concept collision” is a family doctrine, and hence, opinion, not fact, and certainly not Bible based fact. We may then refer back to the comparison between Nelson Mandela, and the hypothetical WS lackey.
In the second bit, the first conclusion is dependant on the tone in which “voices of the world” is taken, in this case, an assumedly negative one. This is very obviously a huge generalization because which “voices” are we talking about? Parents? Educators? Friends? Assuming, in the context of the apostates argument, that we are talking about Educators, is it fair to demonize them in that way? Is there something untoward about a professor passing on his knowledge to his students? Hence the negative connotation is nothing but unfounded bias.
Note: An excellent essay, with some good parallels to this discussion, is on the Jehovah’s Witness’s stance against higher education, and can be found here.
12. When you choose to go the Enemy's way, you reap the benefits of that too--and yes, there are some.
Right there again, equating getting an education with “going the enemy’s way”. Which, as we’ve just pointed out, is a meritless argument, yet it’s just laid out as fact. Seriously, there are 12 year olds who can point out the factual deficiency in this, surely you, as grown adults, can exercise a little distinction between fact and bias.
19. I'm not going to judge you or strike you down with lightning if you choose to pursue a worldly career rather than serving Me as My disciple. In fact, I just might make it nice and easy for you, help you along, and make it comfortable for you. I love all My children, and I love you no matter what you do. The difference is that if you choose the comparatively easy path of doing your own thing and going your own way, you're the one who misses out. Not necessarily here and now on Earth, though in many situations that will be the case. But it's guaranteed that you won't have the happiness, blessings, and the high level of eternal rewards on the other side that you could've had if you'd chosen My way instead.
This right here is WS telling you that the family is Gods highest will for you. That they know best, that they know everyone, that they know what God wants for everyone, and that they know Gods ways of doing everything, through everyone.
You don’t.
(Just thinking though, since WS has both claimed that the family is God’s highest will for me, and excommunicated me, they have effectively stopped me from following what they believe is God’s highest will for me. What a lovely paradox.)
22. (Jesus:) The freedom of choice is the freedom I have given to mankind from the beginning. I didn't program man to worship and obey Me, but gave him the freedom of choice. I allowed the Evil One to roam throughout the Earth with alternative doctrines, and his efforts have intensified in this, the last age before My second coming.
Here we go again. Getting an education does not equate following Satan, and it does not equate to a disbelief in God. Please stop spouting your completely “recruitment based” propaganda as the word of God.
28. (Jesus:) Call on the keys of Heaven for discernment to see through what this one is saying. This is the sad story of any who swallow the tall tale that becoming a "free thinker" and embracing humanism is a path to open-mindedness. You're either for Me or you're against Me, and any other "choice" a man makes is but a deceit of the Evil One.
If life was to consist of 1 choice, that of Humanism vs Religion, then you may have a case, unfortunately for you, being a free thinker does not equate to being a Humanist, nor does getting an education equate to being a Humanist. Choosing to get an education or to broaden your scope of thinking is not a choice against God and is not a deceit of the Evil One. What a tiresome propaganda machine.
29. (Jesus:) My children, when one chooses Pan over Me, Pan fills them with the knowledge of both good and evil which they desire--emphasis on evil. But he also brings great confusion and many vain thoughts into their minds, in order to scramble the path of their way home to Heaven.
Relentless, aren’t you? Mind numbingly repetitive as well. I’ll repeat: Getting an education does not equate listening to Pan. Pan’s existence is not a fact. Pan is Greek mythology, mythology which you have plagiarized almost beyond recognition into your belief system. Saying that getting an education is equal to serving Pan, while not getting an education is equal to serving God, is merely your opinion. There is no scripture or fact to back it up, and God has certainly not told each and every family member this, so quite honestly, it’s your opinion on life, over everyone else’s opinion on life. You are entitled to an opinion, but please stop masquerading as “Jesus” while you’re trying to scaremonger people into staying in your group. Thank you.
30. Call upon the power of the keys to protect you from the influence of Pan, who through heady thoughts and lofty words would seek to erase the truth of My Word from your minds.
Heady thoughts? Like delusions of grandeur? Like “you are an elite army”, “you are special”, “you are my called out ones”, “you are my shining lights to the world”? Pot – Kettle?
34. And just because he sees his newfound spiritual counselors as normal‚ kind, and genuine human beings, does not mean that the Enemy is not using them to perpetuate his doctrines of devils that have been around ever since the beginning, and in opposition to My truth since then as well.
By that reasoning, it’s fair to say that just because a few WS members bleat on about how nice, normal, kind and genuine Mama and Peter are, does not mean the Devil is not “using them to perpetuate his doctrines of devils that have been around ever since the beginning, and in opposition to Gods truth since then as well.”
39. Just because these counselors and supposed "enlightened" teachers of the social sciences don't wear horns or carry pitchforks or cackle like the psychologist in "The Shepherd's Crook," it doesn't mean that they aren't preaching and teaching the doctrines of the Enemy.
And just because those counselors and teachers do not share your extra-biblical belief that education is bad, does not mean they are preaching and teaching the doctrines of the Enemy. Your reasoning is truly adolescent and goes somewhat like this:
All devout Muslims abstain from alcohol.
Steve abstains from alcohol.
Thus, Steve must be a devout Muslim.
You are bizarre!
Oh, they hide it behind masks of humanitarianism, free thinking‚ logic, and advanced carnal reasoning, but that doesn't change the fact that, generally speaking, these are men who don't like to retain God in their knowledge. These are men who exalt their mind above My mind, who make self their god and rationality their religion. These are they who become heady and high-minded, and think they have ascended the tower of their own wisdom and intellect to the heavens, in many cases, not realizing, like the builders of old, that their great tower is but a mud and earthen ramp rather than a towering intellect.
40. See what My Word has to say about such men. These are they who mocked Noah for hearing from Me and for believing in a coming unseen judgment--but the judgment came. These are they of Abraham's family who did not believe in the promised land, and who were left behind as he went out from among them, not inheriting the promise. These are they who despised Moses in the desert and had no faith in My supply and provision‚ even after all the miracles I had done in their sight‚ and were left to perish in the wilderness. These are they, like the Athenians of old, who spend all their time either to tell or to hear some new thing, and consider those like My servant Paul babblers and tellers of tales (Acts 17:18,21).
Over here we have a perfect example of the “True but Irrelevant” method I mentioned at the start.
What do university professors have to do with the people who criticized Noah? What do they have to do with the members of Abraham’s family who didn’t believe in the Promised Land? What do they have to do with those who despised Moses in the desert? Absolutely nothing. Smoke and mirrors comes to mind.
All in all it’s hard to find anything of substance at all in this GN, merely the same tiresome rhetoric copied and pasted over and over again, and hell, I’m bored of repeating myself.
But that was fun. Your thoughts welcome.
Do come again.
Cheers,
the.cog

When I'm at the pearly gates... this will all be on video tape..
31 comments Published by the.cog on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 12:40 PMThink ill be posting a bit more on here for a while, done studying so there is some free time available (if anyone still comes on here).. some interesting stuff to come (i flatter..) so do come back and keep updated. Here's a mild harassment i just endured, not dissimilar to others i get week in and week out. It would be tiresome i think, if i didn't enjoy it so much.
FH (12/8/2007 10:07:30 PM): are you SOV?
amos (12/8/2007 10:07:42 PM): think u asked me this before..
FH (12/8/2007 10:07:44 PM): this isn't florence
amos (12/8/2007 10:07:59 PM): and ... again.. what the hell is SOV?
FH (12/8/2007 10:08:25 PM): the guy that sends letters kind of like what your status message is
FH (12/8/2007 10:08:33 PM): and he signs it song of victory
amos (12/8/2007 10:08:36 PM): uh.. my status is a bible verse..
amos (12/8/2007 10:08:40 PM): Ezekiel I think
amos (12/8/2007 10:08:51 PM): the bible is full of such words of wisdom
amos (12/8/2007 10:08:56 PM): but.. its a 2 edged sword
amos (12/8/2007 10:09:06 PM): got to be careful to make sure we keep it in context
amos (12/8/2007 10:09:11 PM): not just randomly apply it
amos (12/8/2007 10:09:12 PM): etc
FH (12/8/2007 10:09:13 PM): right
FH (12/8/2007 10:09:24 PM): so its Ezekiel what?
amos (12/8/2007 10:09:31 PM): hang on
amos (12/8/2007 10:09:51 PM): u got the address for these sov people?
FH (12/8/2007 10:10:02 PM): you mean you?
amos (12/8/2007 10:10:21 PM): ?
FH (12/8/2007 10:10:29 PM): so hold on
FH (12/8/2007 10:10:46 PM): you're telling me that you don't listen to the voice of prophets
FH (12/8/2007 10:10:54 PM): because that is what the bible tells you
FH (12/8/2007 10:10:56 PM): am i correct
amos (12/8/2007 10:11:01 PM): which prophets?
FH (12/8/2007 10:11:21 PM): well read your status message
FH (12/8/2007 10:11:32 PM): which prophets are you referring to there
amos (12/8/2007 10:11:33 PM): sorry, its jeremiah...
amos (12/8/2007 10:11:34 PM): (Jer. 23:14,16)
amos (12/8/2007 10:11:43 PM): uh.. yeah, its about the family yes...
amos (12/8/2007 10:11:47 PM): but.. its not meant in a serious way
FH (12/8/2007 10:11:56 PM): ..
amos (12/8/2007 10:11:57 PM): im not in the fam.. so i guess i don't take it so seriously
FH (12/8/2007 10:12:03 PM): so its a joke to you?
amos (12/8/2007 10:12:50 PM): its supposed to be tongue in cheek, because i feel its taken out of context, so it cannot apply to mama and peter.. i don't think. its supposed to illustrate the way that some family members try and quote verses to justify stuff, which are also taken out of context
FH (12/8/2007 10:13:13 PM): such as you are trying to do right now with this verse
amos (12/8/2007 10:13:44 PM): exactly
amos (12/8/2007 10:13:48 PM): hence, tongue in cheek
FH (12/8/2007 10:14:47 PM): well its not really your place to put that up there and try to confuse people
FH (12/8/2007 10:14:52 PM): especially young ppl
amos (12/8/2007 10:15:18 PM): firstly.. its not your place to tell me my place... i don't even know my place.. neither do you....
FH (12/8/2007 10:15:30 PM): and if you're talking about the family, if people wanna hear bull shit then tell them but don't dump it on everyone
amos (12/8/2007 10:15:39 PM): secondly... if young people get confused by a verse on my status.. then good lord.. thats one half ass army u got there
amos (12/8/2007 10:16:07 PM): basically, i can put whatever i like on my status... u can read it, you can get confused by a bible verse if u like... thats not my business.. but i can put it up there.. and not feel arsed about it.
FH (12/8/2007 10:16:27 PM): yeah you can do what you want
FH (12/8/2007 10:16:40 PM): but you add people that you don't even know and try to mess with their heads
FH (12/8/2007 10:16:59 PM): and yes since you are doing it too ppl i know then it IS my place to say something to you
amos (12/8/2007 10:17:08 PM): if ur talking about florence.. i only added her because a friend thot i might be interested.. it had nothing to do with family stuff and to be very honest... i tried as much as possible to stay away from that discussion
FH (12/8/2007 10:17:18 PM): hah
FH (12/8/2007 10:17:26 PM): and im not only talking about her
amos (12/8/2007 10:17:44 PM): alright
amos (12/8/2007 10:17:47 PM): well hows this for you
amos (12/8/2007 10:18:04 PM): the family "messes" with the young people's head with their stuff from a very very early age (htk's)
amos (12/8/2007 10:18:10 PM): messes is an opinion
amos (12/8/2007 10:18:12 PM): a point of view
amos (12/8/2007 10:18:22 PM): so please.. enough of the hypocrisy
FH (12/8/2007 10:18:36 PM): well parents have the right to raise their kids in ANY environment that they see fit
FH (12/8/2007 10:18:53 PM): and when the kids are old enough they can choose for themselves
FH (12/8/2007 10:18:59 PM): that seems fair to me
amos (12/8/2007 10:19:19 PM): erm yes... that is fair... if the parents don't want me talking to their kids... they usually get their way...
amos (12/8/2007 10:19:29 PM): u make it sound as if im a scourge of the kids
FH (12/8/2007 10:19:34 PM): nope
FH (12/8/2007 10:19:37 PM): not at you
FH (12/8/2007 10:19:43 PM): you brought up kids
FH (12/8/2007 10:19:48 PM): i wasn't talking about them
amos (12/8/2007 10:19:57 PM): them?
FH (12/8/2007 10:20:01 PM): KIDS
amos (12/8/2007 10:20:23 PM): .. not following
FH (12/8/2007 10:20:34 PM): maybe you don't want to
amos (12/8/2007 10:20:47 PM): thats silly.. everyone who knows me knows i love a good debate
amos (12/8/2007 10:20:49 PM): i love debate
amos (12/8/2007 10:20:50 PM): bring it on..
amos (12/8/2007 10:20:55 PM): just try and make sense
amos (12/8/2007 10:20:56 PM): that is all
FH (12/8/2007 10:21:03 PM): i am making sense
amos (12/8/2007 10:21:07 PM): ok, well i didn't get it
amos (12/8/2007 10:21:12 PM): please try and make it simple for my simple mind
FH (12/8/2007 10:21:18 PM): okay
FH (12/8/2007 10:21:23 PM): hows this for something
FH (12/8/2007 10:21:30 PM): you believe in the bible, apparently
amos (12/8/2007 10:21:41 PM): um..
amos (12/8/2007 10:21:48 PM): thats an assumption
FH (12/8/2007 10:21:51 PM): but you take the few verses that you can twist around to "prove" your point
amos (12/8/2007 10:22:01 PM): in what instances do i do that?
FH (12/8/2007 10:22:19 PM): well off the top of my head
FH (12/8/2007 10:22:25 PM): UR STATUS
amos (12/8/2007 10:23:07 PM): god, do i have to say this for the 3rd time? its tongue in cheek, its a bible verse with nothing added. if you read that and get confused, then you have some issues.. you have no idea who is on my list, who is reading it, what they will get from it or anything of the like... so that is a completely irrelevant fact..
amos (12/8/2007 10:23:09 PM): anything else?
FH (12/8/2007 10:23:24 PM): im not confused at all
FH (12/8/2007 10:23:30 PM): i know exactly what i believe
amos (12/8/2007 10:23:47 PM): thats great.. belief is a personal thing.. i have no intention of convincing you against what you beleive
amos (12/8/2007 10:23:58 PM): so what exactly is the problem?
amos (12/8/2007 10:24:01 PM): you've made a claim
amos (12/8/2007 10:24:06 PM): that i try and confuse people with bible verses
amos (12/8/2007 10:24:10 PM): and id like some proof of that
FH (12/8/2007 10:24:15 PM): there is no problem.. i thought you said you like a good debate
FH (12/8/2007 10:24:22 PM): seems you don't really know what that means
FH (12/8/2007 10:24:25 PM): alright take care im off
FH (12/8/2007 10:24:27 PM): ta ta
amos (12/8/2007 10:24:33 PM): ah.. so your the one leaving the discussion?
amos (12/8/2007 10:24:37 PM): its tough i know
amos (12/8/2007 10:24:40 PM): spew out some false claims
amos (12/8/2007 10:24:42 PM): and fail to back them up
FH (12/8/2007 10:24:43 PM): oh i could stay
amos (12/8/2007 10:24:44 PM): then run off
amos (12/8/2007 10:24:52 PM): its happens often, im used to it
FH (12/8/2007 10:24:50 PM): but you're not very interesting
amos (12/8/2007 10:24:55 PM): oh, ouch..
FH (12/8/2007 10:25:02 PM): you think you're so great huh
amos (12/8/2007 10:25:11 PM): great? exactly the opposite
amos (12/8/2007 10:25:14 PM): im one in 6 billion
amos (12/8/2007 10:25:17 PM): and very aware of it
FH (12/8/2007 10:25:24 PM): bravo
amos (12/8/2007 10:25:24 PM): i believe its you who thinks you are great
amos (12/8/2007 10:25:26 PM): and thats your right
amos (12/8/2007 10:25:34 PM): delusions of grandeur, thats the phrase..
FH (12/8/2007 10:25:42 PM): i think that what i believe in is great
amos (12/8/2007 10:26:04 PM): im still not sure what we are arguing about?
amos (12/8/2007 10:26:06 PM): ...
FH (12/8/2007 10:26:14 PM): and im just glad that its clear and my mind isn't full of crap where i cant even explain what the hell i believe
FH (12/8/2007 10:26:20 PM): were not arguing
amos (12/8/2007 10:26:23 PM): you have not asked me what i believe..
amos (12/8/2007 10:26:29 PM): so how can u know that i dont know?
FH (12/8/2007 10:27:01 PM): you're accusing me of making false claims and then running off so im forcing myself to stay to show you im not scared of your little taunts
FH (12/8/2007 10:27:05 PM): or whatever that was
amos (12/8/2007 10:27:15 PM): ok, so please then, back up your claims
amos (12/8/2007 10:27:17 PM): is that difficult?
FH (12/8/2007 10:27:28 PM): no
amos (12/8/2007 10:27:46 PM): FH: but you take the few verses that you can twist around to "prove" your point
FH (12/8/2007 10:28:01 PM): as a member of the family, i don't like that you have the message up there, to talk bad about the family
amos (12/8/2007 10:28:18 PM): ah, so you have popped me up, assuming that my status is insulting the family?
FH (12/8/2007 10:28:19 PM): and you took that verse, to prove what you don't like about the family
FH (12/8/2007 10:28:26 PM): yup
amos (12/8/2007 10:28:26 PM): that my dear, is an inferiority complex
FH (12/8/2007 10:28:28 PM): and i was right
amos (12/8/2007 10:28:34 PM): no ... sorry.. you were wrong
FH (12/8/2007 10:28:39 PM): i have no inferiority complex
amos (12/8/2007 10:28:44 PM): right.
FH (12/8/2007 10:28:58 PM): amos: uh.. yeah, its about the family yes...
amos (12/8/2007 10:29:30 PM): yes, i think "about" the family and "to talk bad" about the family are very different things
amos (12/8/2007 10:29:44 PM): its referring to the family.. in a very pointed way..
amos (12/8/2007 10:29:50 PM): i tire of having to explain this over and over
amos (12/8/2007 10:29:51 PM): but ill try
FH (12/8/2007 10:30:05 PM): right so referring to the family in the way that that verse is is not negative?
FH (12/8/2007 10:30:12 PM): seems like you don't really know what you're saying
FH (12/8/2007 10:30:19 PM): and obviously, this is a waste of my time
FH (12/8/2007 10:30:23 PM): so yes, i will be off now
FH (12/8/2007 10:30:32 PM): and no, im not running from you
amos (12/8/2007 10:30:35 PM): in the past a few people i have talked to have used some verses during debate which have been shown to be very far reaching and out of context... by putting up my status i was making a point as to how silly it is to use verses out of context
amos (12/8/2007 10:30:53 PM): etc etc... yes, be off with you.. you are, im sorry to say, witless and dour...
FH (12/8/2007 10:31:08 PM): and you, make a pathetic excuse
FH (12/8/2007 10:31:17 PM): maybe you're just bitter about something
amos (12/8/2007 10:31:18 PM): for what?
FH (12/8/2007 10:31:30 PM): but i believe in forgiveness and the ability to forgive
amos (12/8/2007 10:31:44 PM): yes... so im sitting here minding my own business, waiting for the game to start, and i get harassed by someone i don't even know... and im the bitter one?
amos (12/8/2007 10:31:45 PM): bravo
FH (12/8/2007 10:32:02 PM): a little defendant there, aren't ya?
FH (12/8/2007 10:32:05 PM): hehe
FH (12/8/2007 10:32:06 PM): funny
amos (12/8/2007 10:32:08 PM): eh?
FH (12/8/2007 10:32:08 PM): okay bye
amos (12/8/2007 10:32:14 PM): yeah.. good night
The scary thing is, I know that in the back of your mind a small part of you hoped that this chat would make me "see the light" and cause me to take stock of my life, or similar. Way to fuel the fire. Idiot.
